The Who - I Can’t Explain, |
The Who's initial success with 'My Generation' was quickly followed by 'I Can't Explain'. Having been impressed by The Kinks 'You Really Got Me,' Pete Townshend penned this classic tale of teenage angst and frustration that would be their opening number for stage shows from 1966 onwards.
Session man Jimmy Page was brought in by producer Shel Talmy to supply
the lead guitar solo. |
